In 2009, Bang-Yao Liu, a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, created a stop-motion animation video, which used only Post-It Notes, for his senior project, the result of which was something of a spectacle, a video which garnered him international recognition from millions of Internet users.
Inspired by his demanding deadlines and constant use of Post-It Notes whilst studying, Liu proceeded to inject some whimsy and merriment into an otherwise laborious time in his life. After 3 months of planning, 6000+ Post-It Notes, and 4 days of shooting, the result was that of 2 minutes of inventiveness and child-like imagination to be admired.
