In October 2016, acclaimed musician Moby hired London-based animator and illustrator Steve Cutts to produce the music video for his song entitled Are You Lost In The World Like Me? Inspired by the work of pioneering animator Max Fleischer, Cutts delivered a stark, realist look at a world overcome by smartphone addiction and evidently oblivious to the bleak, dilapidated terrain by which humans have become engulfed, as well as the savagery and immorality shown by the very few who have not been consumed by their mobile phone.
Prior to becoming a freelancer in 2012, Steve Cutts worked on digital projects with such companies as Toyota, Coca-Cola, Sony and Google, and his 2012 film MAN, which touches upon animal rights and environmentalist issues, has amassed over 20 million views on YouTube.
