In 2015, Danny MacAskill, a trials cyclist from the Isle of Skye in Scotland, released a 5-minute film entitled “Cascadia”, the footage of which shows MacAskill, in what can only be described as vertigo-inducing fashion, and his riveting journey of extreme proportions across the rooftops of Gran Canaria.
Using a GoPro camera to capture the POV footage, MacAskill, a former mechanic whose stunt videos have garnered him widespread attention and acclaim, rides some truly injury-defying, if not death-defying, lines whilst navigating his way down to street level.
