In this thrilling, yet terrifying, 2-minute clip, which was filmed during the 2013 Red Bull Rampage, in which he achieved 2nd place, the late Kelly McGarry, a freeride mountain biker from New Zealand, dares to tackle the roughest, most disagreeable of terrains in Virgin, Utah, during which he attempts to land a backflip over a 72-ft. canyon, doing so successfully.
The extremes to which McGarry pushed himself during his career, before his untimely death in 2016 as a result of cardiac arrest, gained him international acclaim, being recognised as one of the most prolific participants in the sport of freeride mountain biking.
